HCTF
The Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation (HCTF) is a not for profit charitable foundation established in 2007. The primary purpose of the Foundation is to act as Trustee of the Habitat Conservation Trust, which was created in 2007 by an amendment to the Wildlife Act. The HCTF succeeded the Habitat Conservation Fund which operated from 1981 to 2007. Hunters, anglers, trappers and guide-outfitters contribute to the Foundation’s enhancement and education projects through license surcharges. Voluntary contributions, proceeds from the sale of education materials, and court awards provide additional revenue. BCWF appoints two members to the HCTF Board of Directors.
