The Southern Interior Land Trust (SILT) purchased this 50 acre property in 1998 which includes several different Similkameen Valley habitats.
The Cold Creek property is located just west of Keremeos and includes Similkameen River frontage with black cottonwoods. It also provides access to steep upland Crown lands which are habitat for California bighorn sheep, goats, deer and rattlesnakes.
The property includes not only a typical dry, open, rocky hillside, dotted with sagebrush, cactus and pine trees, but also a spring-fed year-round creek.

Upon receipt of your sponsorship, you will receive an official tax receipt for income tax purposes. We will also send you a stewardship certificate and property map showing the zone you have sponsored.
Sponsorships are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of payment. Sponsorships can be automatically renewed on a yearly basis simply by clicking the Yearly button on the donation form.
