Phase-2 of the wetland restoration construction at n?a)xwt (Ginty’s Pond) is now completed.

n?a)xwt is an oxbow of the Similkameen river located near Cawston, BC, which over several decades, the expansion of cattail had resulted in a loss of open water habitat. The goal of the n?a)xwt project is to restore ecosystem functions including open-water wetland habitat for Western Painted Turtle.
